Music Lesson Awards

Awards are made for music lessons in jazz for deserving young musicians based on talent, desire, and need.

Trad Camp Scholarships

Over 15 scholarships are awarded annually to our one-week summer traditional jazz music camp in Sly Park for students aged 12 to 18. The number of scholarships is expected to increase over time.

College Scholarships

The Kenton O. Smith Traditional Jazz College Scholarhip is for college music majors.

How you can help planning for the future

Bequests by Wills, Living and Charitable Trusts, Cash or In-Kind Donations, or Scholarship Endowments Funds

Tax-deductible gifts of cash, paid-up insurance policies, appreciated property, securities, and real estate, as well as gifts created through estate planning are welcomed.

By including STJFS in your Living Trust or Will, you help to perpetuate traditional jazz into future generations. Memorials to individuals can be designated through the scholarship endowment fund.
