Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society
Welcome!
STJS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional jazz music. Its purpose is to educate STJS members and the public on matters concerning the preservation and promotion of traditional jazz music, and the study and playing of musical instruments associated with traditional jazz music.
STJS is proud to sponsor the annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee every Memorial Day Weekend since 1974.
And on the 2nd Sunday of each month, everyone is welcome to attend our "Jazz Sunday" concerts for an afternoon of socializing and dancing to live music (in 3 rooms!) performed by jazz bands and special guest artists from around the country.
