JAM SESSION – Optional, pre-festival jam session with clinicians for registered band students. Public welcome to come enjoy pizza and jazz.
Newly remodeled. Round Table will again donate 20% of food & beverage sales (from 5-9:00 pm.) toward TJYBF.

Free parking in adjacent parking structure.

ALL EVENTS require a wristband for admittance.
Good all day and for evening concert.

NOTE: Student band performances and on-stage feedback clinics take place in Capistrano Hall, within 3 rooms:
the Music Recital Hall (MRH), Room 151, and Room 143
from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Registration begins in Capistrano Hall Lobby.

Band Performances begin.

9:00 AM
NEW Tailgate Room opens in Room 319.
Tailgate Room hours: 9am–noon; 1:10pm–3pm; 4pm–5pm.

12 Noon - 1:00 PM  LUNCH BREAK
Jazz 'n' Pizza - Jam session in Room #143
Band directors and students are invited to jam.
Soda and Round Table Pizza meals will be available for purchase ($5);
lunch is complimentary for band directors.

1:10 PM
Band performances resume.

3:10 PM JAZZ WORKSHOP in MRH
The “E”-Factor: How to Excite, Energize & Engage your Audience.
Clinicians share their experience.

4:00 PM
Band Performances and Tailgate Room resume.

5:30 PM
Dr. Roach announces Awards, and bands selected for encore performances.

5:15 PM
Showcase Ceremony in Music Recital Hall.
Encore performances featuring top bands from the festival.

7:00–8:30 PM
Closing Concert
Music Recital Hall
Featuring clarinetist Bob Draga and the all-star Clinicians Band. Concert ends with a mega-band that will raise the rafters! Don't miss this!
